Today's Cross Country practice will be at the MJHS track from 5:00 to 6:30 PM today. Students should come dressed ready to run and bring a filled water bottle to keep hydrated.
Students must have a current physical on file before running. No exceptions. No excuses.
Softball Tryout Announcement!
All girls trying out for softball today should bring gym shoes. In case of bad weather, tryouts will be inside. Students will still need all of their softball gear.
If you have not turned in a physical, bring a hard copy of the physical to the tryout. No physical, no tryout, no exceptions.
If you forgot to order your child's PE uniform by the July 16th deadline, you are in luck. We are opening the PE Uniform Store again! The store will be open from Now until August 11th. The only catch is that these orders may not be delivered to the school by the first day of student attendance.
The t-shirts and shorts are mandatory, as they are the uniform for PE class. The other spirit wear is optional, but can be worn in place of the t-shirt and shorts. This is convenient especially when we are outside or during the winter months. The bag (also optional) is helpful for students bringing their clothes home to wash over weekends and breaks. Seventh and eighth grade students may wear their uniform from last year. Sixth graders will need to purchase one.
The store will close on August 11th at 11pm. Please make sure you write your child's first and last name under "Additional Info" at checkout, not your name. Uniforms will be passed out during the first week of school. Locks will be sold at the back to school fair. Thank you!

The Board recognized the 2023 Galaxy Award winners at the Board Meeting on June 21. An ice cream social was held in their honor before the meeting. Congratulations, Nicole Stec, Stacie Kittler, Kathy Arduino, and Victoria Clifford! We are so grateful to have you in our District!
