Day 1 of our Young Athletes Culminating Event was a huge success! Our athletes showed us their skills and character trying out each of the six events. Thank you to our MES and MIS students for lining the sidewalk to cheer on our athletes, our student council helpers, our families who joined in on the fun, our teachers and staff for all of their planning and help, and to our special guests Officer Tom, Board Members Jim and Julie, the Special Olympics of Illinois Team, and staff from our local state representative's office! A fun day was had by all and we couldn't be more proud of our atheletes!
